The insurance division of Merchants' Services, LLC is a full service insurance agency specializing in group and individual hospitalization and group term life and disability insurance. The major focus at the agency is to sell and service the Association membership insurance plans underwritten by Anthem BlueCross BlueShield but it has the ability to work with non-members and other carriers as well.

Employee Group Insurance
Medical, Dental, Life, Property & Casualty, Long Term Care
Through the Retail Merchants Association, members have access to a full line of medical and dental products underwritten by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well as all of the other major carriers.
The medical coverage is available to members with two or more employees as long as at least 75% of eligible employees are covered and the employer pays at least 50% of the employee only premium. Association members may choose among a variety of managed care plans and take advantage of "value added" benefits by virtue of their membership. Dental coverage is also available. The extent of coverage and eligibility requirements depend upon the number of eligible employees. Individual health and dental coverage is also available.
Property and Casualty Insurance
This plan offers broad coverage that is customized to the individual needs of your retail business. In addition to competitive rates, a credit of 10 percent is automatically applied to your package policy, just for being an Association retail member. All groups are eligible for an annual return of premium based on the group's experience. Individual accounts may qualify for an additional workers comp dividend based on their own experience.
